The surface should be free from oil, grease, moisture, dust and dirt. Follow below guidelines for surface preparations. 1. First of all sanding the wooden surface with appropriate Emery paper. (Minor sanding for smooth wood surface and major sanding for rough and lower grade wood surface). 2. Apply PU sealer (P.2030.00.9001.02) first and sanding with appropriate Emery paper after drying completely then clean the sanded surface with cotton cloth properly. 3. Apply the Putty if needed for filling the pores and grooves for proper leveling the surface then after drying sanding with appropriate Emery paper for proper leveling the surface. Clean the surface with cotton cloth properly. 4. Apply PU White filler primer (P.2084.16.1072.99) for prepare the base to give a smooth finish and fills the grain in the wood. A primer also seals the absorbent new wood, preventing the paint coats from sinking in immediately and going patchy. Sanding with appropriate Emery paper after drying thoroughly for smoothing the surface and clean with cotton cloth properly. 5. Apply the PU white paint (S.2010.00.1046.01) for desired surface finish (White/transparent/colored) as required and leave it over night for complete drying then minor sanding with appropriate Emery paper and clean properly with cotton tack cloth. (In case of MDF and HDHMR boards, direct apply PU white paint on the substrate). 6. At last apply the UV Clear (C.9002.07.9001.01) on PU painted surface and UV printed surface by following the below mentioned application parameters.
